Which of the 30 articles of the UDHR could MusicLexis be connected to, and why?
To be able to provide an answer, you can read the description of MusicLexis on the main pages of the 3 wikis - MusicLexis dictionaries, Grammar wiki, Practice wiki, and listen to Areti Sidiropoulou, the creator of MusicLexis, explain the main goals of MusicLexis in the video below.
In an experiment she did, Areti first tried to answer the above question herself. Reading each article of the UDHR carefully, she was able to identify six articles that MusicLexis could be connected to. Then, she briefly described the website and its goals to an AI search engine and asked the engine the same question. At first, the AI engine found only three of the articles and it justified its answer clearly and precisely. With Areti’s further prompts, the AI engine identified two additional articles, and eventually one more. After reading the AI engine's well-written justification, Areti decided to spend some time writing her own answer and justification. Read through the pages below and compare the two answers.
In the case above, what strengths and limitations did AI show compared to the human brain? Consider the speed of providing an answer, the quality of the writing, as well as the knowledge of the topic’s context and how well-informed the answer can be.
To what extent do you think the AI engine’s reply helped Areti in writing her own reply?
In what way should we approach the answers provided by AI systems?
