MusicLexis was created in 2015.

Two European eTwinning projects based on MusicLexis were implemented in [https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning/projects/musiclexis-most-fun-dictionary-ever 2016-2018] and [https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning/projects/musiclexis-most-fun-dictionary-ever-ii 2021]. Students from various schools in Europe took part in collaborative activities and became little lexicographers adding entries and translations to the dictionary. Both projects were awarded the European Quality Label.
